Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At Chitra Fashion, we offer a 7-day return and refund policy. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all tags intact. Items that show signs of wear or alteration will not be accepted.

Non-returnable items:

  • Products bought on sale or with discount offers
  • Custom-stitched or altered products
  • Intimate or sanitary items (if applicable)

To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must be sent to Chitra Fashion’s specified address.

Partial Refunds (if applicable)

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item returned more than 7 days after delivery
  • Products showing signs of use or tampering

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a specified number of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please:

  • Check your bank account or payment method again.
  • Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times may vary.
  • If you’ve completed these steps and still haven’t received your refund, contact us at support@chitrafashion.com.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@chitrafashion.com and send your item to: #304-G4, Maya Garden City, Zirakpur, Punjab, 140603.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted items are non-refundable.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, we will send a refund to the gift giver, who will be notified of your return.

Return Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: #304-G4, Maya Garden City, Zirakpur, Punjab, 140603.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

For more expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we don’t guarantee receipt of returned items
